How long until the word "deaccession" gets translated into Quebecois?

Howdy!

Yesterday Kate of the lovely and wonderful Montreal City Weblog pointed me to this article by Nathalie Petrowski about how Loto-Quebec is dismantling a mural they commissioned by Serge Lemoyne.

While Ms. Petrowski does a fine job of parroting what the Serge Lemoyne Foundation told her, she neglects a much larger and significant problem. This is not the first time the product from 1% for art has been moved, dismantled torn down and destroyed. Ms. Petrowski seems to think that the Lemoyne mural is an isolated incident that might become a larger problem, when in fact it is business as usual, and it is only a matter of time before "the problem" becomes really significant and museums here start selling off bits of their collection or things worse...
